About Frankfort Tree Pros

Frankfort Tree Pros is a tree service covering Frankfort, KY and Franklin County. We do a lot of hillside work because of where we are, we assess before we quote, and we tell people when a tree does not need to come down.

What we do

Removals including hillside and steep-slope work, trimming and pruning, stump grinding, emergency and storm response, land and fencerow clearing, brush hauling, plant health diagnosis, cabling and bracing, and commercial and institutional grounds work.

The two things that protect you

Current insurance coverage, and a crew that rigs trees down rather than dropping them and hoping. Everything else is preference; those two are the difference between a routine job and a disaster on your property.

Ask us for a certificate of insurance and we will have the carrier send it directly. Ask every other bidder the same — the answers sort the field quickly.

We turn work down

A dead tree at the back of a wooded lot with nothing under it is habitat, not a hazard. A sycamore with anthracnose in May is going to releaf. A bad Japanese beetle year looks awful and rarely threatens an established tree.

Saying so is not generosity. A local service business that sells people work they did not need does not last, and around here everyone talks.

Yes, with a current certificate sent directly by the carrier before work starts. Never accept a photocopy from any tree company.
